Dear TOSSM members, colleagues and friends, As the current COVID-19 pandemic is beginning to subside, it is a great opportunity for us to develop our TOSSM society. We strive to create a society that has core values of brotherhood, friendship, research-mindedness and innovative advancements. In the future we hope to see potential collaborations with other sports medicine associations. We welcome each and everyone of you with open arms.

In 2023, we will be hosting the “TOSSM-ASSA-KSES Combined Meeting 2023” in collaboration with several renowned international organizations including the KSES​ (Korean Shoulder and Elbow Society) as our ​guest society and the ASSA​(ASEAN​ Society for Sports​ Medicine and Arthroscopy). We hope to see you all and wish to take this year’s event to the next level.

I am Dr Dave Lee from Singapore . I am the current ASSA President 2023. ASSA stands for Asean Society for Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy. Our society aims to elevate the level of sports surgery and the management of sports injuries in ASEAN. This region in South east Asia has a population of approximately 700 million , nearly 10% of the world population.

The Thai Orthopedic Society of Sports Medicine , TOSSM are the hosts for the 2023 Combined TOSSM , ASSA and KSES combined meeting . For this meeting, Professor Bancha and his team have worked hard early to put together an incredible programme show casing the work of ASEAN sports surgeons . Together with our shoulder friends from Korea and many other invited eminent international faculty , this meeting will be an outstanding academic event . The location in the Pattaya Beach Convention will enhance the social interaction for all attendees and guests. Save the date and look forward to seeing you in Pattaya this year !

On behalf of Korean Shoulder Elbow Society, thank you for your kind invitation as guest nation to the TOSSM meeting in Pattaya. It is truly an honor and privilege to have the Korean shoulder-elbow surgeons in the meeting this year. We share a long history of collaboration and friendship, and I am confident that this year's meeting will be a great success, not only in terms of academic knowledge but also in fostering stronger bonds between our societies. I am certain that the meeting will provide an excellent platform for the exchange of ideas, experiences, and techniques between Thai and Korean surgeons.
